Your Questions, Answered

What is this migration?
FutureMoney has made the strategic decision to move clearing, custody, and trading service for accounts held with Atomic Brokerage LLC to Alpaca Securities, LLC (“Alpaca”) for all Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, and Individual accounts and to Capital Group for all 529 plans.
Do my fees change?
No. Your ongoing fees, as defined in your Investment Management Agreement, do not change.
How will my account be transferred?
Invested 529 plans (value exceeding $250):
Account transfer directly to Capital Group.

Uninvested 529 plans (value less than $250):
ACH transfer to Alpaca.
When will 529 plan migration to Capital Group happen?
Capital Group requires a minimum of $250 in assets before investment occurs, and invests subsequently in $50 minimum increments. We are working diligently to find an e-wallet solution that will allow us to continue to support weekly contributions, and contributions below $50. We will provide updates as soon as they are available. In the meantime, if you would like to migrate your assets to Capital Group, and set a monthly contribution of $50 or more, please contact support@futuremoney.co.
Where can I get answers if I have other questions?
Please reach out to support@futuremoney.co.
When is the migration happening?
30 days from notice provided by email to affected users is when the migration is targeted for users who do not respond. We can start your migration sooner if you provide your proactive consent in writing to support@futuremoney.co.
When will my contributions begin?
There is no change to your contributions. An Alpaca account has already been created for every goal that was associated with an Atomic 529 plan, and contributions to that account have been occurring for several months.
Will I have to pass identity verification again?
No
Will all of my goals still be visible?
Yes. Your goal balance may temporarily decrease as your funds are in transit. If you have any concerns, please reach out to support@futuremoney.co.
Are Junior Roth IRAs part of this migration?
A Junior Roth IRA with FutureMoney may start as a 529 plan. Once specific eligibility criteria are met, it rolls over from a 529 plan to a Roth IRA account. If your Junior Roth IRA was opened as a 529 plan, then it is part of this migration. If you're unsure, please reach out to support@futuremoney.co.
After migration, how will I see my Pershing-related statements, quarterly trade confirmations and tax statements?
You will find these in the Documents section of your app.
